Selection and Installation

Choose bracket geometry before material. Aluminum reduces bracket mass, but neither version replaces the application-specific base, correct hardware or a check of the final driving position.

Why use a QRT-specific side mount?
The bracket is shaped for the QRT underside. Standard flat-side brackets should not be assumed to provide the same low mounting position or correct rake.
What changes between steel and aluminum QRT brackets?
The listed set weights are 6.5 lb for steel and 3.2 lb for aluminum. Both are black, but they use separate manufacturer SKUs: 600QRT and 600QRTAL.
Do QRT side brackets also replace the floor mounting base?
No. They connect the compatible seat shell to the planned mounting arrangement. A suitable vehicle base and installation hardware remain separate parts of the setup.
