The CSF 8266 replaces the engine oil cooler on the listed S58 G87 M2 and G8X M3/M4 applications. A single-row, 32mm core uses ten-channel aluminum microtubes and 8mm fins.
The factory mounting position, oil connections and seal arrangement are retained. This targets engine oil cooling; automatic transmission oil and charge-air coolant each use their own components.

Does this cool the ZF8 transmission?
No. The 8266 is the engine oil cooler. The ZF8 transmission cooler is a separate component.
Does an S58 X3 M use the same cooler?
Not on this listing. The X3 M/X4 M has a different engine oil-cooler application; engine family alone does not establish fitment.
Will this replace the front heat exchanger?
No. It connects to engine oil lines, while the front heat exchanger serves charge-air coolant.
