Madtrace® GEN2 CLUBSPORT LINE Racing Steering Wheel System

JQ Werks Madtrace GEN2 Clubsport is a configurable racing steering-wheel hub system. It is the LIN bus-focused choice in the range, for a track cockpit that needs a selected rim and a vehicle-matched control layout. Pick the chassis first; a universal-looking rim does not make the electronics universal.

Design and controls

• 6061-T6 billet-aluminum components and a 5 mm carbon-fiber control structure.
• Eight front buttons and two joystick knobs, with mapping through MadtraceLAB.
• RGB button lighting with adjustable color and brightness.
• Optional single carbon paddle hardware, OLED DID and compatible CANBUS integration.

Build the configuration around the car

• Transmission: select the matching MT or AT configuration. AT requires compatible paddle hardware; paddles can also provide supported programmable inputs on an MT setup.
• Rim: Hub System Only does not add a separate wheel rim. Select a listed Sparco or MOMO rim if you need one.
• DID: the optional OLED replaces the standard horn-cap position and adds display-based setup functions.
• CANBUS: the module must match chassis, transmission and, where relevant, driving position. BMW E manual module fitment needs confirmation before it can be ordered through this configuration.

Track use and installation

For off-road, track and competition use only; not for street use. A racing steering-wheel conversion replaces the factory airbag and changes occupant protection. JQ specifies a six-point racing harness and racing roll bar, and says not to use this conversion with factory three-point seat belts. JQ also states that these systems must not be installed on vehicles subject to state safety inspection. Have a qualified installer assess the steering and restraint setup together. Read the manufacturer installation guidance before installation.
