Paragon PBP370 brake pads are the front pad option for Honda Civic Type R FK8/FL5; Subaru BRZ / Toyota GR86 with factory Brembo brakes. Choose the pad shape to match your installed caliper first, then select the compound for street driving, light track use or dedicated competition.

Fitment and pad specification

PBP370 fitment
Manufacturer / product family Paragon Performance / PBP370
Application Honda Civic Type R FK8/FL5; Subaru BRZ / Toyota GR86 with factory Brembo brakes
Axle Front
Required brake system Factory Civic Type R front Brembo calipers or the manufacturer-listed BRZ/86 Brembo pad shape
Manufacturing Manufactured by Winmax for Paragon; made in Japan
Available compounds P2 Sport Comfort, P3 Road & Track, R5 Track & Competition, R7 Track & Competition

The shape number identifies compatibility; the compound identifies the friction material. A vehicle fitted with an aftermarket big brake kit may require a different pad from its original brake system. Factory Civic Type R front Brembo calipers or the manufacturer-listed BRZ/86 Brembo pad shape.

For BRZ and GR86, confirm the car has the manufacturer-listed Brembo brake package. This listing is not a universal fit for every BRZ/GR86 brake system.

Choose your brake pad compound

Paragon pad compounds — manufacturer-rated operating ranges
P2 Sport Comfort Street / daily driving; Ambient–500°C; Non-metallic
P3 Road & Track Sport driving / light track duty; Ambient–600°C; Semi-metallic
R5 Track & Competition Dedicated track / competition; 100–750°C; Metallic
R7 Track & Competition High-friction track / competition; 100–850°C; Metallic

P2 favors everyday street use. P3 suits drivers combining road use with occasional light track sessions. R5 and R7 are dedicated track choices: expect more noise and dust, and account for their higher operating-temperature requirement. A higher-friction compound is not automatically the best choice for a daily-driven car.

Installation and bedding

Confirm the caliper and pad shape, inspect rotor condition and have a qualified installer confirm the bedding procedure for the selected pad compound before use. Compound choice should suit the complete front/rear brake setup, tire grip and driving use. Professional installation is recommended.

Product FAQs

Where do PBP370 pads fit?

Honda Civic Type R FK8/FL5; Subaru BRZ / Toyota GR86 with factory Brembo brakes. Required brake system: Factory Civic Type R front Brembo calipers or the manufacturer-listed BRZ/86 Brembo pad shape. Verify the pad outline and thickness before ordering.

Which compound should I choose?

Choose P2 for street use, P3 for road and light track use, or R5/R7 for dedicated track and competition use. Consider noise, dust and operating temperature as well as friction.

Will these fit an aftermarket big brake kit?

Only if the installed caliper uses this exact pad specification. A vehicle model match does not establish compatibility with an aftermarket caliper.

For fitment help, send Pit Garage your model year, chassis, installed caliper/brake package and intended road or track use. For a big brake kit, include wheel specifications. Confirm current availability and lead time before planning installation.
