We completed the PG TA90 Toyota GR Supra A90 build at our shop in South El Monte, in the Los Angeles area. This Mk5 Supra combines a PURE900 turbo, Nitron R3 suspension, Paragon brakes and Ridgeline Motorsport GT4+ EVO aero. Driven by Sky Chan at the 2026 GRIDLIFE Laguna Festival, it set a 1:32.481 weekend best at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and finished third in the Street Mod Podium Sprint.

Building your own Supra? You’ll find suspension, brakes, cooling and aero in our A90/A91 Supra performance parts collection.
Two weeks before Laguna: an engine failure
Our shop Supra suffered an engine failure just two weeks before the event. We were already preparing four nearly fresh builds, leaving little time for our own car.
CounterSpace Garage helped with repeated log reviews and tuning, while Ridgeline Motorsport’s GT4+ EVO prototype came together in time for the weekend. SoCal Drivers Club, JQ Werks and Yokohama also supported the effort to get us to Laguna.
From first-day problems to the Street Mod podium
The car ran into more issues on the opening day, and our crew worked to get it back on track. We went into Day 2 still trying to turn the weekend around. Alongside our own car, the crew was supporting the wider SoCal Drivers Club team between sessions. Troubleshooting and setup changes had to fit around getting those cars back out as well.

By Day 3, Sky had set a new PG TA90 personal best in Heat 7. That lap put us third in Street Mod qualifying and secured a place in the Podium Sprint alongside several SoCal Drivers Club teammates.
Isaac Torres won the sprint, Jake Breeden finished second in another Pit Garage build, and Sky took third in our shop Supra. After a difficult start, sharing that podium with the SDC crew meant a lot to us. Back at the shop, we turned our attention to the Global Time Attack Finals at Buttonwillow.

Nitron R3 Coilovers & Paragon Big Brake Kits for the A90 Supra
Our chassis package pairs Nitron R3 suspension and Eibach sway bars with Paragon brakes at both ends. We ran the Laguna weekend on 275-width, 200-treadwear Yokohama A052 tires and 18-inch Volk Racing CE28 wheels.
For a similar A90/A91 Supra track build, wheel clearance, suspension travel and brake fitment need to be considered together. The build sheet shows our combination; your car’s existing equipment and intended events will determine the appropriate specification.

PURE900 turbo, port injection and B58 Supra track cooling
The PURE900 package is supported by port injection, the CSG fuel system and CounterSpace Garage’s EcuTek calibration. The transmission upgrade and limited-slip differential complete the drivetrain side of the build.
We also fitted separate components for charge cooling, transmission cooling and engine-oil cooling. These serve different circuits: a larger heat exchanger does not replace a transmission or oil cooler. The specific components are listed in the build sheet above.
Ridgeline Motorsport GT4+ EVO aero
We brought the Ridgeline Motorsport GT4+ EVO prototype to Laguna with the splitter, canards, rear wing, hood vent, RS roof fin and fender vents fitted to our Supra.
Ridgeline Motorsport developed the package to retain the Supra’s recognizable shape and everyday usability while pursuing the demands of time attack. For our Laguna weekend, the EVO prototype brought those pieces together on the same car: front aero, a swan-neck rear wing and venting across the hood, roof and fenders.

A90 Supra build questions
Is the PG TA90 a factory Toyota GR Supra GT4 race car?
Our PG TA90 is a modified A90 Supra built at Pit Garage. GT4+ identifies the Ridgeline Motorsport aero family fitted to the car.
Will a Supra big brake kit fit any 18-inch wheel?
Wheel diameter alone does not establish clearance. Check the fitment template for the exact caliper and rotor combination against the wheel’s barrel and spokes before ordering.
Does a larger heat exchanger replace the transmission or oil cooler?
No. The heat exchanger serves the charge-cooling circuit. Transmission and engine-oil coolers address separate circuits, so the cooling plan needs to account for each system.
What should I send Pit Garage when planning a similar build?
Send your model year and transmission, current modifications, wheel and tire specifications, intended events and budget. For suspension, include whether the car retains factory electronic dampers; for brakes, include the wheel model, size and offset.
