The CSF 8104 upgrades engine oil cooling on the 2016–2018 N55-powered BMW F87 M2. Two aluminum microtube cores operate in series, adding rear cooling rows behind the main front core.
The design retains the original oil-line connections, mounting and shroud arrangement. CSF specifies an additional half-quart of cooler oil capacity; the final engine oil level still needs to be established correctly after filling the complete system.

Does this fit the M2 Competition?
No. The documented application is the earlier N55 M2.
Does it replace the DCT cooler?
No. This is an engine oil cooler; the N55 M2 DCT cooler is a separate component.
Should I simply add half a quart to a normal oil fill?
The added cooler capacity is a component specification. Establish the final engine oil level using the vehicle’s normal level-check procedure after the system is filled.
