The Pit Garage Spec Nitron NTR R3 gives the BMW E46 M3 independent control of rebound, low-speed compression and high-speed compression. Built for road and track applications, it offers the adjustment range to develop your suspension setup around your tires, chassis and driving priorities.

Features

  • Three independent damping controls for detailed suspension setup.
  • Hose-connected remote reservoirs for additional thermal capacity.
  • Bi-Axis hose fittings for flexible reservoir routing.
  • Application-specific spring and damper specification.
  • Serviceable and rebuildable construction for long-term ownership.

Choose Your Configuration

Fast Road (FRS)
A starting point for predominantly road-driven cars with occasional track use.

Track Day (TDS)
A more track-focused option for drivers prioritising chassis control with an appropriate tire and suspension setup.

Rear layout
Divorced keeps the rear spring separate from the damper. Coilover places the spring around the rear damper. The selected layout must suit the car’s mounting arrangement and any required reinforcement.

Product FAQs

Do high- and low-speed compression refer to road speed?

No. They refer to damper shaft movement speed. A sharp suspension input can involve high shaft speed even at a low vehicle speed.

How should I approach the first damping adjustments?

Establish a suitable baseline, change one setting at a time and record the result on a repeatable route or session. Keep the tire and vehicle setup consistent while assessing changes.

Does choosing a true rear coilover affect the installation requirements?

It changes where the rear spring load is carried. Establish the mounting and reinforcement requirements for the selected layout before ordering.
