Planning Your Seat Installation

Sparco lists different year ranges for the left and right AP1 bases. Keep those side-specific application strings when ordering rather than applying a single AP1 date range to both sides.

The 600 Series platform permits custom direct mounting with drilling where appropriate. On manufacturer applications marked side-mount-only, do not add the track set. Base appearance can vary by application. A base alone does not establish compatibility for the whole seat system.

Product FAQs

Are the left and right Honda S2000 AP1 bases interchangeable?
No. Each side has its own manufacturer part number and application wording, shown below. Order the correct side, and check the seat, bracket and belt-buckle arrangement as a complete installation.
Is this a pair or a complete seat installation kit?
The selected SKU is one base for the specified application and side. The seat, brackets, slider where permitted and installation hardware are separate components.
Do the left and right AP1 base listings cover the same years?
Use the separate manufacturer wording: left is S2000 1999–2003 AP1 (600SB046L), while right is 1999–2006 AP1 (600SB046R). Do not replace those side-specific entries with a single shared year range.
