The Sparco 600 Series seat base for BMW E90 M3 Sedan provides a vehicle-specific platform for an aftermarket seat installation at the factory floor mounting points. Choose the left or right base for the position being equipped.

Planning an E90 M3 Seat Installation

Build the mounting stack around the exact seat you plan to install. For a bottom-mount Sparco seat, the standard component list is the 600 Series base, 00493 slider and 50001 hardware kit. A side-mount competition seat uses compatible side brackets, such as Sparco 004902 steel or 600W aluminum mounts, and 50002 side-mount hardware. These components and the seat are sold separately.

Before tightening the assembly, check the E90 driving position with the door closed: steering-wheel reach, pedal operation, belt routing and seat clearance at the console and door trim. If the car will be used with a helmet, include it in the seating-position check.

Product FAQs

Is the E90 M3 sedan base the same as the E92 M3 coupe base?
The listings use different base families: 600SB141L/R for the E90 sedan and 600SB120L/R for the E92 coupe. Order by the body style and selected side, rather than using an E9X M3 label alone.
Will this base guarantee more helmet clearance in my E90?
No fixed height reduction is specified for this base. The final position depends on the seat shell, cushions, side brackets and whether a slider is fitted. A direct side-mount arrangement on the wide platform may require drilling; check the complete assembly before choosing it for additional headroom.
Can I use 600SB141 to refit the original BMW seat?
This base is intended to support an aftermarket seat installation at the E90 floor mounts. It is not listed as a replacement rail or repair bracket for the original BMW seat assembly.
