The Sparco SPR gives a street interior a supportive composite sport-seat shape with a reclining backrest. Its RTM shell and synthetic-leather/microsuede trim provide a different route from the carbon-and-leather SPX.

Selection and Installation

Consider how often the backrest needs adjusting and how easily the outer handle can be reached beside the door. Harness openings alone do not establish that the rest of a street-car restraint installation is suitable.

Is the SPR the same construction as the SPX?
No. SPR uses an RTM composite shell and synthetic trim. SPX combines a carbon backrest with an RTM lower section and premium leather/Alcantara.
How does SPR adjust the seating position?
An OEM-derived recliner with dual handles changes the backrest position. This is distinct from adjusting the rake of a fixed-back bucket through its brackets.
Is SPR covered in genuine leather?
Sparco specifies synthetic leather with soft-touch micro-suede in the center. That is different from the leather and Alcantara upholstery of SPX.
